The 2024 Checking For Charity saw battles not only on the ice but with the ice storm! The storm came through the night before and made travel difficult. Fortunately the day warmed up and the event was a success!

The Red Riot Challenge pits South Portland High School hockey alumni against each other. The action was excellent as the two teams competed for another year of bragging rights. The game was tied 4-4 halfway through. Team red buckled down the defense and the offense heated up eventually pulling away to a 10-6 victory. Team Red was lead by Garrett Arnold (4g) and DJ Conley (3g-1a). Team White was led by Rob Pascale (2g-2a) and Tim Clark (2g-1a).

The Firefighter Classic is played by members of the South Portland Fire Department and their friends from surrounding departments. This fun game is looked forward to by all that participate for the camaraderie it offers.
