This is where it all started! The inaugural event aimed at bringing people in the community together to raise money for several local groups. The event featured two hockey games, a 50/50 raffle, some great hockey memorabilia for raffle, Fore River Brewing's "All-Hands Brown Ale", and a lot of goals!!

 

The first game was between the South Portland Firefighter's Team and the SPHS Hockey Alumni Team. This game was a bit of a lop-sided contest but the 350+ people that showed up didn't care!! The second game brought some local former professional players to the ice to take on the newly formed CMCC Men's Hockey Team. The CMCC team got a great view of some of the skills put forth by the former pros, but just couldn't keep up with them!

 

The event was deemed a huge success raising $7,300 to benefit those in need! It was after that night that we knew we were onto something, and promised to be back the next year!!
