The 2nd annual CFC brought a lot of excitement, and stress for the CFC committee. Would we be able to increase the crowd from the first year? Would we be able to raise more money for the charities we support? We would suffer from a first year "hang over"? We brought in NHL Referee and South Portlander Wes McCauley to make sure we nailed it!!

The crowd nearly doubled from the 1st annual CFC, and the funds raised more than double as well coming in just over $14,700!! The first game's teams stayed the same, and the results didn't change much. The Firefighters just couldn't keep up with the SPHS Alumni. Everyone had fun, but the score was not pretty! The "Former pro Showdown" brought many popular former pros to the ice to showcase their skills against one another, and it was fantastic!!

The silent auction generated a huge amount of money, and brought in some great hockey sweaters, Sea Dog's Sky Box tickets, and much much more... The 50/50 was a very popular spectator event with SPFD firefighter's canvasing the seating area selling the tickets!! 2018 was a huge year in growth for us, but could we match it in 2019???
