State-Wide Program History
Over the past years, administration of the CFC program within the state of Maine had been divided into separate campaigns; Heart of Maine CFC, Central Maine CFC, Mid-Coast CFC, Portland CFC, and New Hampshire / Southern Maine CFC.
In early 2007, with the approval of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM), the separate campaigns (with the exclusion of Portsmouth Naval Shipyard (which receives coverage through the CFC of New Hampshire and Southern Maine) were combined into one, the Combined Federal Campaign of Maine.
Our campaign covers a large and varied state, and receives participation from agencies both large and small. From centralized high population installations such as NAS Brunswick, DFAS Limestone, Togus VA; to widely scattered Postal Service and Coast Guard facilities, we reach federal employees statewide.
As a statewide campaign, we look forward to working with all agencies to increase the effectiveness of this program, and the benefits that your donations bring to local, national, and international organizations.
